Terms & Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions constitute a legal and binding document, applicable to all products and/or services provided by Kijo Digital (Pty) Ltd t/a Kijo Digital, to any Client(s) who have accepted Kijo Digital’s quotation(s). By accepting the quotation, the Client authorizes Kijo Digital to render the specified products and/or services.

General Terms & Conditions

1. Project Specifications
   1.1. The Client must provide detailed Project Specifications to Kijo Digital to enable the issuance of an accurate and binding quotation.
   1.2. If the Client requires assistance in creating Project Specifications, Kijo Digital can assist, and such assistance may be billed at the discretion of Kijo Digital.
2. Quotation
   2.1. Quotations are valid for 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date on the Quotation.
   2.2. Unless otherwise stated, quotations exclude domain registration and hosting fees.
3. Acknowledgment
   3.1. By accepting Kijo Digital’s quotation, the Client acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
4. Agreement
   4.1. Acceptance of the quotation and these Terms & Conditions is confirmed when the Client pays 50% of the total quoted amount as a deposit to Kijo Digital’s specified bank account. Payment in other currencies is subject to prior agreement.
   4.2. Work on the quoted products and/or services will begin only after the deposit is received.
   4.3. Kijo Digital will work diligently to complete the agreed products and/or services within the timeframes specified in the quotation.
   4.4. Kijo Digital is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond its control, such as equipment failure, third-party hosting services, or internet issues.
   4.5. Kijo Digital ensures websites are compatible with modern major browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge) but does not guarantee backward compatibility with outdated devices or software.
5. Deposit
   5.1. Deposits are non-refundable unless determined otherwise by Kijo Digital at its sole discretion.
6. Required Documentation
   6.1. Required documentation includes all information necessary for the timely delivery of the project (e.g., text, images, videos).
   6.2. Documentation must be submitted electronically unless agreed otherwise.
   6.3. Work will only commence once all required documentation is provided.
   6.4. If documentation is not provided within 20 (twenty) days of the invoice date, the full project amount becomes due.
   6.5. After 45 (forty-five) days, a continuation fee of 15% of the total quotation will be charged monthly until completion.
7. Copyrights
   7.1. Clients must ensure they have copyright ownership for all materials supplied.
   7.2. Kijo Digital will not be liable for any copyright disputes.
   7.3. In cases of unauthorized content, Kijo Digital will remove such materials, and the Client will bear the costs.
8. Graphic Images
   8.1. Clients must provide high-quality graphics unless otherwise agreed.
9. Photographs
   9.1. Photographs must be of high digital quality and in an appropriate format.
10. Printing
    10.1. Kijo Digital does not offer printing services and is not liable for printing errors.
11. Website Hosting
    11.1. Hosting through Kijo Digital is subject to specific terms, including disk space and bandwidth limitations. Overage charges will apply as per the quotation.
    11.2. Non-payment of hosting fees may result in suspension or termination of services.
    11.3. Hosting cancellations require written notice and are subject to a calendar month’s notice period.
12. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    12.1. Kijo Digital cannot guarantee specific search rankings but includes basic SEO services in our website development process. For enhanced SEO results and improved search engine rankings, we recommend signing up for one of our comprehensive SEO packages, tailored to help your business achieve its online visibility goals.
13. E-Commerce
    13.1. Up to 15 products will be loaded for e-commerce websites. Additional product uploads may incur additional costs.
14. Balance of Payment
    14.1. Proof of payment must be emailed to Kijo Digital.
    14.2. Ownership of work remains with Kijo Digital until full payment is received.
15. Completion Date
    15.1. Completion depends on timely feedback and content submission by the Client.
16. Additional Work
    16.1. Additional work requested after the original agreement will be billed accordingly.
