These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any design, development or marketing services provided by Kijo Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
01
Kijo Digital is a website design and digital marketing studio based in Cape Town, South Africa, operated by Patrick [Surname]. These Terms apply whenever you browse this website, submit an enquiry, or engage us for a project.
Specific projects are also governed by a signed proposal, quote or statement of work. Where those documents conflict with these general Terms, the signed project document takes precedence.
02
We provide website design, development, SEO, conversion optimisation and related digital services. The scope, deliverables and timeline for any project are agreed in writing before work begins.
Timelines given on this site or in proposals are estimates. Delays caused by late content, feedback or approvals from the client’s side may extend the agreed schedule.
03
04
To keep a project on track, the client agrees to:
05
Each project includes an agreed number of revision rounds, set out in the proposal. Requests that fall outside the original scope, or additional rounds beyond what’s included, will be quoted separately before work begins.
06
Once a project is paid in full, ownership of the final website design and code transfers to the client, excluding any third-party assets, plugins, stock imagery or licensed fonts, which remain subject to their own licence terms.
Kijo Digital retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
07
When using kijo-digital.com, you agree not to:
08
We take reasonable care in delivering our services, but we do not guarantee specific results, such as search rankings, traffic or conversion figures, as these depend on factors outside our control.
To the extent permitted by law, Kijo Digital’s liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the amount paid by the client for that project.
09
Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice, as set out in the relevant proposal. Work completed and costs incurred up to the point of termination remain payable.
10
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
11
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of this site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
