Maréa charters handpicked, fully crewed luxury yachts across five of the world’s most beautiful cruising grounds. We designed and built a website that makes a deliberately small fleet feel like taste rather than a shortage of choice, presents sailing yachts, motor yachts and catamarans across five destinations without fragmenting the brand, and guides high-value guests to book or enquire with confidence.

Maréa takes its name from the French marée, the tide, and began with a simple belief: a charter should feel less like a booking and more like an arrival. The brand keeps a handpicked fleet across the Caribbean, Greece, South Africa, the Maldives and the French Riviera, each vessel inspected before it joins and each crew briefed to the day the guest has in mind. Sailing yachts, motor yachts and catamarans, all crewed and insured, with the fleet kept small on purpose.
That restraint is the brand’s greatest strength and its hardest thing to sell online. Luxury yacht charter is dominated by marketplaces listing thousands of boats, where more inventory looks like more choice. A curated operator has to make fewer yachts read as considered taste, carry one brand across three vessel types and five very different destinations, and earn enough trust for a high-value trip booked remotely. The brief was a website that does all of that, and then guides guests to the right next step, whether that is booking a listed yacht or enquiring about a bespoke charter.

A deliberately small, premium fleet competing against marketplaces built on volume, with four problems the website had to solve at once.
Charter marketplaces list thousands of yachts, so breadth reads as choice. A handpicked fleet has to make its size feel like taste and quality, never a shortage.
Three vessel types across five destinations, from the Cyclades to the Cape. The site had to span that range while staying unmistakably one brand.
Guests commit significant sums to a yacht and crew they have never met, often from another continent. Confidence has to be built before any enquiry.
Some yachts carry a clear from-rate and suit an immediate booking; others are bespoke and enquiry-led. One website has to serve both without diluting either.
We agreed the outcomes first. Every design and content decision on the site traces back to one of these four goals.
A marketplace competes on how many boats it lists. A curated brand competes on everything around the boat: how it was chosen, who crews it, and how the day is composed. We built the site to lead with that, on four strategic pillars.
“A charter composed entirely around you.”
Two intuitive ways into the same fleet.
Confidence for a charter chosen from afar.
Momentum matched to intent.
Charter guests start from different places. Some have a destination in mind; others are drawn to a kind of boat. Rather than force one hierarchy, the architecture offers both routes into the same curated fleet, then adapts the final step to how ready the guest is to commit.

Clear specifications and a from-rate turn interest into a confident booking with the fewest possible steps.
When the decision is bigger, the site opens a personal line to the team rather than pushing a checkout.
Most Nassau tour sites reach for saturated turquoise and stock clip-art. We went the other way: a deep navy and warm gold palette, an editorial serif, and a compass-rose motif that signals seamanship and premium hospitality: closer to a yacht brand than a booth on the dock.
Marine ink carries depth and trust; brass adds warmth and a premium, hand-finished feel; sand and paper keep long content calm. A single red is reserved for offers and primary actions.
A classical serif gives headlines the feel of a printed invitation; a geometric sans keeps the rest contemporary and effortless, never brochure-heavy.
Guests rarely search a charter brand by name. They search luxury yacht charter in Greece, catamaran charter in the British Virgin Islands, or private yacht hire on the French Riviera. The content is structured around those intents, with destination hubs, vessel categories and a journal that answers the questions behind each search, so the site is legible to both traditional and AI-powered search.
Dedicated pages for each destination and vessel type capture both the “where” and the “what kind of yacht” branches of charter demand.
Guides such as choosing the right yacht, catamaran versus sailing yacht, and the best time to sail the Caribbean build depth around the core topics.
Organisation, fleet ItemList and FAQ schema are recommended so the brand, its yachts and its answers are legible to search from launch.
A high-converting luxury yacht charter website makes a curated fleet feel like taste rather than a shortage of choice, presents each yacht with clear specifications and a from-rate, builds trust for a high-value trip booked remotely, and offers a booking path that matches how guests decide.
Maréa is that pattern in practice: a brand-led position, destination and vessel architecture, real guest stories, and a dual path that lets a confident guest book a listed yacht while a considered guest is guided toward a bespoke enquiry. Beautiful imagery earns attention; clarity and trust earn the charter.
You make the fleet’s size a signal of curation, not scarcity. Lead with the selection standard, the quality of the crews and the service around each charter, rather than competing on breadth of inventory. A website that communicates handpicked quality and a charter composed around the guest can win travellers who would otherwise scroll thousands of near-identical marketplace listings.
Chartering a crewed yacht is rarely an impulse. Conversion here is about building confidence and keeping the right next step within reach, whether the guest is ready to book a listed yacht or wants to talk through a bespoke charter.
A serif, deep-water hero signals curation and quality in the first seconds.
Destination and vessel routes lead to clear, comparable yacht pages.
Crews, standards and guest stories de-risk a remote, high-value booking.
Book a listed yacht, or speak with the team about a bespoke charter.
A “Speak with our team” path offers help choosing a yacht and route, matching the high-touch nature of the purchase.
Listed yachts carry a clear book action; bespoke charters lead with enquiry, so neither buyer is forced down the wrong path.
Seasonal savings and a “no spam, just the sea” sign-up capture guests who are inspired but not yet ready to commit.
The site is built on WordPress with Elementor, using repeatable templates for yachts and destinations so new vessels, destinations or seasonal offers can be added without a rebuild. Destination pages follow a consistent pattern, from “two ways to experience” the location to the season guide and the yachts available there, which keeps a growing fleet coherent and fast to extend.
Performance, accessibility and structured data were treated as build requirements. The site is responsive and image-led for a visual category, video-ready for guest stories, keyboard-navigable, reduced-motion aware, and prepared for Organisation, fleet and FAQ schema so the brand and its yachts are legible to search and AI systems from day one.
Sailing yachts, motor yachts and catamarans, each category framed by what it is best for.
Guests, cabins, length, type and a from-rate, so every yacht is easy to compare at a glance.
“Two ways to experience”, why it works by yacht, a season guide and the local fleet.
Real charters across the five destinations, giving an intangible experience tangible proof.
A direct line to the team for guests who want help choosing a yacht and route.
Topic-led articles and a seasonal sign-up that build authority and capture early interest.
As a new build, impact is described in terms of what the website is designed to do: the strategic gains it is engineered to produce, ready to be confirmed with post-launch data.
An editorial, serif system that reads as considered luxury at a glance.
Two intuitive routes into a single curated fleet.
Guest stories, visible crews and clear standards for a remote booking.
A book path for listed yachts, a guided enquiry for bespoke charters.
Destination and vessel topics, a journal and structured-data readiness.
A small fleet feels deliberate, not limited.
Range across vessels and destinations without fragmentation.
Proof and clarity de-risk a high-value, remote charter.
Each guest reaches the right action for their intent.
Destination and vessel content targets the searches that convert.
A small, premium selection only beats a marketplace when the website makes that restraint feel like taste and standards.
Spanning vessels and destinations works when a consistent system and templates hold the brand together.
High-value, considered purchases convert on guidance and trust, not pressure or a forced checkout.
Maréa draws on the disciplines we bring to every premium, experience-led travel build.
If your luxury travel, yachting or hospitality brand looks more considered in person than it does online, that gap is costing you enquiries. We design and build premium travel websites around strategy, UX, content, SEO and conversion.
